GLANT seen by a studend

Hello!

I'm a Japanese staff of GLANT.

I'm staying in this academy with studying and working as an intern.

Today, I would like to introduce the good points of this academy as a student.

To tell the truth, even if I judge this school by a strict point of view, I cannot find the bad points.

It's exactly true.

(1) Freedom

Glant is absolutely free in almost everything. There are no curfews and no limitation of bringing alcohol in the dormitory.

And also we can chose the class time when we want to have.

Having said that, this academy isn't mean to be too individualistic and all students's conditions are rather looked at carefully.

For example, I left my room with the light turned on once and then, soon the owner found this mistake.

I think this means each student is taken care of by the owner at anytime and anywhere.

(2) High quality of the teachers

Glant is, as you know, the small academy and the tuition and accommodation fee are both cheap. So that it is worried if the level of teachers is low.

However, actually, you don't need to worry about the low quality.

All teachers are earnest to have the class fit to their each student.

Personally, I've studied at other big and famous academy in Cebu but some of the classes offered there was sometimes terrible. Even during the man to man lesson, some teachers didn't focus on the class and enjoyed communication with other teachers seated next to them. And also they spoke with provincial accent.

In this Glant, I haven't seen those cases!

In addition, despite our academy is small, luckily, we offer the class by native speaker.

(3) the good environment

There is a businesspark named Oakridge just 1 minute from here by walk.

In this site, there are a Starbucks and a supermarket fit to foreigners.

So that, we can go there soon after finishing class and during the break time.

And also, the security of around here is good and then street children who sometimes worry us in visiting Philippines cannot be seen.

( In addition, the existence of Starbucks seems to show the evidence that the security around there is pretty good in this country)

Furthermore, songs of chickens cannot be heard around here ( it common to be annoyed by noisy songs of plenty of chickens in Philippines) , thus, we can concentrate on studying without being bothered by noisy sound!

Anyway, I've just listed up the most visible good points.

I still have a lot of idea I want to inform you but, I think you can find any other good points by reading following blog and Facebook.
