Sulpa island

Hello!

We went to Sulpa island to enjoy swimming with some students a few days ago.

Sulpa is a small uninhabited island located within 20 minutes from Mactan by boat .

The sea around Mactan is said not to be clear because the water around there is used in some industrial manufacturing, however, it around Sulpa is so transparent and clear.

Perhaps, the sea around this island is that we can go for the shortest time from Cebu city of all others.

At this time, we sailed across the sea by my acquaintance's boat and this boat was so small that the rolling by wind was bigger compared to big one!

On the way to the island, we dropped at the snorkelling spot and dove into the sea.

The sea was so transparent that we could see a lot of kinds of sea creatures.

And also, the color of the sea was almost emerald green.

After snorkelling, we arrived in Sulpa.

Of course, There were no buildings.

However, this island has been included in the route of the packaged tour supported by hotels, that's why some bbq spaces are prepared.

We also enjoyed eating meat, seafood and mangos, bananas and pineapples those were selected specially by locals.

Having a lunch with the view of the sea was so fantastic!

After a lunch, we enjoyed swimming around the shoal, and then we left Sulpa.

On the way to returning to Mactan, engine trouble suddenly happened in the boad.

The boat suspended working for a while. There was nothing but floating on the sea.

Conductors were so calm because they may already be used to like this accident...

They were brave..

After a while, the boat was(maybe) fixed thanks to their efforts, and then we started enjoying snorkeling again around there.

We slept on the boat as the boat was stopped working, and then we went back to Mactan.

Sulpa is such a nearest island from Cebu as this article.

This island is very convenient for the people who want to enjoy swimming in the beach in a day.
