Champorado
The other day, teachers in Glant made one of the Philippines local foods "Champorado" as a refreshment :)
This is a kind of porridge the taste of which is chocolate and, sometimes a few teaspoons of milk is poured on top of it.
According to my observation about the reaction of Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese students to it, some may like this taste and other may hate it.
Students present there muttered one after another "It's not my taste :( " and " It would be better if chocolate added more ;) ."
Teachers showed understanding in the difference of sense of taste between Filipinos and others, saying "Is it strange, right?"
Tasting local food is fun in some respects :)
